The Red Dot Design Award, along with the iF Design Award and IDEA, is recognized as one of the world’s three major design awards. The Red Dot is presented in three categories — Product Design, Brand & Communication Design, and Design Concept. 

NEXPA System has become the first company in the parking management industry to win in the Design Concept category with its “Parking Kiosk for the Socially Vulnerable.” 

NEXPA System’s award-winning parking kiosk is designed so that when a vehicle stops in front of an unmanned payment machine at an exit, the card reader automatically extends toward the driver’s seat. 

This design eliminates the need for drivers to stretch their arms awkwardly or open the door to reach the machine, greatly improving convenience during payment. 

The equipment is about half the size of conventional systems, featuring a slim, modern design that earned high praise from the Red Dot jury.

The CEO of NEXPA System stated,

“Every driver has experienced the inconvenience of reaching for a payment terminal positioned too far from the driver’s seat. While this can be a minor hassle for most people, it presents a serious challenge for the socially vulnerable. We developed this product to break down that barrier.”

NEXPA System has previously supplied video-guided parking management systems to Incheon International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport, 

Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and Lotte World Tower.

The Red Dot Award Ceremony 2024 will be held on October 10 in Singapore, and NEXPA System’s winning design will be exhibited at the Red Dot Design Museum.
